The Omni William Penn Hotel has a beautiful lobby and a great historical charm, making it a good place to stay. My room was spacious and comfortable, though I did notice that the WiFi was a bit spotty and there was a lack of kid-friendly TV options. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring downtown Pittsburgh, right near all the major attractions, which made my stay convenient. Although I experienced a minor inconvenience with a noisy room, the staff were attentive and quick to assist.

Rooms

My room was spacious and comfortable. However, I faced noise issues from a rooftop bar, which impacted my sleep. The beds were comfy, and I appreciated the in-room coffee maker and fridge.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, quickly moving me to another room when I faced noise issues. They really went above and beyond to ensure my comfort.
Location
10.0
The location was excellent, with easy access to PPG Paints Arena and other attractions. It was also within walking distance to numerous restaurants, making my stay very convenient.
Dining

I enjoyed the on-site dining, especially breakfast at the Terrace Room. The food was delicious, but I felt some items were a bit overpriced.

The facilities were good; I was impressed by the well-maintained gym. Room service was quick, though I noticed some cleanliness issues with dishes left in the hallway.

7.4/10

My stay at the Omni William Penn was a mix of fantastic service and some letdowns in the room's functionality. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and genuinely cared for the guests, but my room felt a bit outdated and lacked some expected amenities. The hotel's beautiful historical charm and convenient location added to my experience, yet the high dining prices made me think twice about eating on-site.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and spacious but could definitely use some modernization. I felt it was lacking essential items like a microwave or enough drawer space, which made it challenging for four people to stay comfortably.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience, which definitely deserves recognition.
Location
9.0
The location is perfect for accessing various attractions and restaurants, adding greatly to my positive appreciation of the stay.
Dining
5.0
I found the on-site dining options to be quite expensive for what they offered, which was a bit disappointing given the hotel’s reputation.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel had several amenities, such as room service and valet parking, I felt that some standard comforts were missing considering its price point.

5.0/10

I recently stayed at the Omni William Penn Hotel and while there were some highlights, the experience was quite mixed overall. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a historic charm, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, which made me feel welcomed. However, I encountered issues with the air conditioning in my room, which took several complaints to resolve, ultimately dampening my experience. The combination of perfect service from the staff and my room's discomfort resulted in a stay that, while pleasant in many ways, fell short of expectations.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and beautifully maintained, though I encountered issues with the air conditioning. The bathroom was smaller than I anticipated, a common characteristic in a historic hotel, but the huge walk-in closet was a plus. The water pressure was surprisingly great, which I appreciated. Overall, it offered comfort despite the challenges.
Service
7.0
The front desk staff were genuinely kind and attentive, showing understanding when I voiced my concerns about the AC issue. There were delays in addressing my complaints, but their professionalism helped ease the frustration. If they had been more proactive in communicating with me, my experience would have been much better.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location in downtown Pittsburgh was perfect, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. Being so central made exploring the area very convenient, which I enjoyed. The aesthetic appeal of the hotel itself added to the historic ambiance.
Dining
5.0
While I dined on-site, my experience was somewhat disappointing due to the service at the bar, which felt disorganized. I would have liked more options outside the hotel, as relying on Uber Eats just didn't feel right. The quality of the food could use improvement, as it didn't meet the expectations I'd set.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities could use some updates, especially regarding the AC units and overall maintenance. However, the availability of amenities like valet parking and a nice bar experience contributed positively, though my overall experience was marred by inconsistent service.

6.0/10

I had a nice stay at the Omni William Penn Hotel, which is a beautifully historic venue. While the rooms were comfortable and spacious, I did find a couple of small issues, like the early closing time of the lobby store and some delivery challenges. Overall, the attentive service and fantastic dining made me want to return for another visit.

Rooms
8.0
The Premier Room was spacious and featured a nice layout, though the shower was a bit small. The presence of two bathrooms made my stay more convenient.
Service
9.0
The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, despite a minor hiccup with the valet parking experience where I felt the communication could have been clearer.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located near various eateries and attractions, making it easy to explore downtown Pittsburgh, although I had to navigate around some detours on my way there.
Dining
6.0
I especially enjoyed the quality of breakfast and the overall dining experience was good, but I was disappointed with the Saturday High Tea, which did not meet my expectations.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel's amenities were quite good, including room service and valet parking, but I did find the Wi-Fi connectivity to be unexpectedly charged, which seemed out of place.

6.8/10

I had a mix of experiences during my stay at the Omni William Penn Hotel. The ambiance, particularly during the holiday season, was beautiful and really set a nice tone. The staff was exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond in several instances. However, I did encounter issues with room service cleanliness and communication during a noise disturbance that impacted my stay.

Rooms
5.0
My room was nicely decorated but I had an issue when I found two double beds instead of the king bed I booked. The view was also disappointing, facing a nearby wall. While the bed itself was comfortable, this mix-up significantly affected my experience.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and eager to help, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, during a noise disturbance from a party above me, I felt the management's response could have been better, as I wasn't offered any alternatives or further assistance.
Location
9.0
The hotel is located conveniently near excellent restaurants and the convention center, making it easy to explore the city. This was a definite plus for my stay, providing ample dining options within walking distance.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed breakfast at The Terrace Room, and the food was delicious. Though, I encountered a slight delay with room service that could have been improved. Overall, the dining experience was high-quality.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had good facilities, including valet service and room service. However, I did notice that cleanliness could be improved, particularly with room service dishes being left in the hallway for too long.
